    Vintage Duke and Spalding footballs

I am offering three (3) vintage footballs.

Ball 1: This football is a “Thorp Sporting Goods” football. The ball is semi-inflated and is a “B” code football. One of the laces is broken. This football displays very well. There are some autographs on it but they are way too faint to say for sure who signed the football.

Ball 2: This football is a Duke “Thorp Sporting Goods” football. It is supposed to be a Layden football but for the life of me, I can’t see the Layden impression of the football. This football does not hold air and all of the laces are missing. For those who aren’t aware, Layden was the first commissioner of the NFL.

Ball 3: A Spalding football with “Packers” hand-painted on the football. This football does not hold air and was apparently displayed because there is a screw inserted into each end of the football.

The price for all three (3) is $225.00 OBO and $12.00 for postage. The price isn’t bad because Ball 1 in and by itself is a decent price. The other two (2) footballs are basically throw-ins but they would work out just fine if someone can re-condition the leather/patina of theses babies.

If additional scans or information is needed, just contact me at flaa1a@comcast.net

Hi: I am interested in your offer. The one ball seems in fair condition.

These footballs are still available. If you need additional info or scans, just email me at flaa1a@comcast.net

I think the sleeper may be the Layden football. I've been told it's a Layden football but for the life of me, I can't see it. If you know someone who can somehow condition the football to bring out the stampings, you'll be getting a steal.

I paid $200.00 for Ball 1 and just want to move them all out.

I will pay $150 for the good ball (Ball #1) or $175 for all three. Will pay the postage too.
