I totally agree with you. Steiner advertises themselves as the end all for all the Yankees memorabilia yet they will sell promo LS bats with the 125 undelined as game issued/used bats. If I tried to sell a bat like that I would be laughed off of this forum. But if it has a Steiner letter it must be good. A fool and his money are soon parted.

Another common Steiner bat ploy is to sell a "so and so" game used bat and when you get it another player's number , or even name or initals are written on the knob. I honestly don't think they know what the heck they have half the time.
Anyway, not to highjack the thread here, someone help George and buy his wood. George and I have given each other wood and I have to say, it's always been good.
