According to the person I bought this from, the bat was used in 1987 during Sharperson's playing days with the AAA Syracuse Chiefs. It is a Cooper Pro 100 C243. Per the stamp on the knob, the bat is 34 inches long and weighs 31 ounces. Has light pine tar on the handle and several ball marks on the barrel. Crack on back side of barrel has been repaired.
This is a very nice gamer. Incredibly, it has been signed "To Mark, Best Wishes, Mike Sharperson" on the handle in sharpie. A very tough player to find, and an extremely rare bat to find autographed (deceased 1996).
A great addition for any Blue Jays/ Dodgers/ Braves fan! I am asking $150 delivered. Thanks!
