Offered is a vintage Philadelphia Eagles game worn/used helmet worn by Keith Jackson. The helmet was made by Riddell and is a model VSR 3. On the back of the helmet, there is a dyno strip that reads “Jackson 88”. Inside the helmet, there is another dyno strip that reads, “K. Jackson. Under the right earpad, the initials “D8” are machined into the helmet. I am not 100% sure but I think these initials mean the shell was manufactured in 1988. If I am correct, 1988 was Keith Jackson’s rookie year. The helmet appears to be in original shape

After being drafted by the Eagles in 1988, Jackson recorded 81 receptions for 869 yards and 6 touchdowns in his first season, along with seven catches for 142 yards in the Eagles' only playoff game that year, and won the NFC Rookie of the Year award. In his nine seasons, Jackson made the Pro Bowl six times (1988-1990, 1992-93, 1996). In his final season, Jackson made 40 receptions for 505 yards and a career-high 10 touchdowns, assisting the Packers to a 13-3 record and a win in Super Bowl XXXI.
