Not sure why you feel the need to defend yourself and take a jab at me in the process, again it wasn't a personal attack. I actually think you did a nice thing which should be readily apparent to anyone who has even casually read the thread. How un-Pie Traynor like of you!
I was referring to the jerseys being sold for between $1,200 and $1,500 (there are four). I too have attended PiratesFest in the past and have an inkling as to the original retail values. Unless it's changed significantly this year, which maybe it has, $1,500 would appear to be a bit of a mark-up!
Perhaps I did misspeak when I referenced the term Pirates and intrinsic value in the same sentence!
