Bernie Kosar "Presentation Game Ball" Football

Offered is an authentic Cleveland Browns “presentation” game ball NFL football that was presented to Bernie Kosar for his play against the Kansas City Chiefs on 11/24/1991. The Browns won the game 20-15.

The football was actually used in the game and later one of the panels was painted to reflect the game totals. Bernie has signed the panel under the painted panel and although faded, the signature is still quite legible. I’ve had the football for quite awhile and although it is semi-inflated, it does not appear that the football had lost any air since I’ve owned it.

The price is $375.00 plus postage. If interested, please contact me at flaa1a@comcast.net

    Jim

PS. I am always looking for vintage Eagles game worn items.

Sweet, almost makes me wish I was a Browns fan. Of course every time I hear or see Kosar's name it makes me ill remembering the 1986 Jets 2OT playoff loss at Cleveland in which they lead by 10 with 2 minutes to play :-(

Bernie Kosar is my all-time favorite football player. We pretty much worship Bernie Kosar at my house. That game against the Jets was unbelievable. I was lucky enough to meet Bernie briefly at Browns training camp in 1993. That was one of the high points of my life.

Great game ball. Good luck with the sale.

        Jason,
Bernie's brother Brian was my frat brother in college. Since the Brownies practiced across the street I was able to see Bernie quite a bit. He was a lot bigger than I realized. His brother was very down to earth and a nice guy. Bernie did more on the football field with his brains and non god given ability than any player I have ever seen. Oh the good old days! Hopefully my Brownies are back!!!

Hey guys, there was a time I had a ton of Browns game worn jerseys that included Kosar, Slaughter, and Newsome jerseys just to name a few. I also had sideline jackets, sweatsuits and t-shirts.

Most of the items are gone excep the Kosar football, a Mike Johnson jersey and somewhere in my den, I have a 1987 yearbook signed by nearly every Brown player pictured in the yearbook.

That's so cool. I didn't know he had a brother. Bernie is tall. He looked to me like he was darn near 6'6. Best of luck to my beloved Browns in the coming season.

For the record I'd absolutely kill for a game used Kosar Browns jersey. I've never seen one that looked legit to me.

                Jason,

I know there are at least two "gamers" out there because I owned them. Both were white with a front "pocket".

Check out the Ricky Feacher presentation football I just advertised.

Oh man, the front pocket ones are my favorite. I wonder who has them now? Hmmmm.

                    Jason,
You are absolutely right! Bernie is 6'6". We sometimes never get the true size of these guys! Even when I was coaching HS ball a couple years back I could not believe the size of kids these days. I always found myself looking up at the players when I was instructing them. Kind of funny. Let's hope our Brownies are back. I was very happy this year. Too bad we choked against the Raiders and Bengals. Maybe that will light that fire under them. I think signing Lewis is a good sign. I also think Anderson has proven he should get a few more years until Brady is ready. Although I think he is close. As far as Bernie's jerseys, I have seen a few legit ones, along with those front pockets back in the day. Could have been had for around $400. Not anymore! Oh well, maybe someday you'll find one!

The loss against the Cardinals was the one that killed me. They look like they are finally on the right track though. Maybe someday I'll get a real Kosar game used jersey. That would be a dream come true.
