i am looking to sell donovan mcnabb philly eagles 2001 green game worn jersey. tagged 01-50 by reebok, it has berlin, wisc wash tag inside and show few wears on the jersey. priced $2500 shipped . its much cheaper than any of game used websites that are selling his game jeseys for $5,999.99 each !!!

How come you call it Game-worn but in this Ebay(#320223076657) auction you state (The jersey show some use and i do not think it was worn on the field.) Is the jersey game worn OR is was it a game-cut jersey that has been worn off the field? Thanks for any info, Chris

now answer to your question, i put game "worn" on the title to DRAW the buyers BUT i did put ISSUED TOO
BUT you need to read carefully in the description that i did mention it didnt show any wear from the FIELD.....however on gameused forum i forgot to add issued on the title because i got the jersey on the same day when i posted the McNabb.... my bad !

To be fair, you did more than simply forget to add "issued" in your GUU topic title. Game worn isn't the same as game issued. Game issued means just that: issued to a player, but not worn. Game worn is actually synonymous with game used.

Then, you made the following statement in the auction listing: "...i do not think it was worn on the field", but then never made those statements in the original GUU posting or even re-posted the clarifications until someone on GUU questioned it.

So, it's fair that someone on GUU seeing the posting and the same jersey listed on eBay would question whether or not the item was game used or game issued, since the two descriptions are in direct disagreement.

Sorry, but Blitzmaster and beavisrules were in the right to question it.

why didnt you email me personally and asking about the issued vs worn as emailing me privately, then i culd change the title,. i was in hurry to post the donovan mcnabb jersey on gameused fourm ...I MENTIONED THAT IF any questions EMAIL ME !!! wow you guys cannot read or what , i rather to be able to read than to write hahaha

i decided not to sell the donovan mcnabb eagles jersey after it ends sunday march 9th 2008 on ebay. i will keep the jersey for awhile, and i am the third party owner of the jersey, the orginial owner said it came from eagles.com in 2001-2003ish, it matched with everything with my research... BUT he said its game worn but i doubt it until i checked it closely. you could tell if its game worn by shoulder pads wearing against the jersey that cause few tear from outside and marks from inside

thanks for the response. just curious if there was any paper trail for the piece (receipt, print out of auction etc.). you are experienced enough to know that some paper work would help the piece. not attacking you at all, I just thought a piece like that would definatley have some kind of receipt/paper trail to back it up especially in this day and age of sports memorabilia collecting.

no paper work nor receipt for the mcnabb and not all the time with the jerseys paperwork loa/coa are good enough
impt to do your homework....
i risked bought mcnabb without paperwork however i did my homework and i went ahead and bought it

I think if most of us were questioned about an error in a listing of an item we were selling, we'd be inclined to provide an answer that is void of the defensive posture you have provided. Especially questions regrding whether it was issued or worn.

I may have been interested in this item, if I thought it was worn and there was supporting documentation. Because of the way you responded to legit questions, I no longer am interested in it. Good luck selling it and I hope you continue to enjoy it, should selling it doesn't work out for you.

i dont care if you were interested in mcnabb jersey, you did not email me with any questions so you wuldnt buy it anyway ...."because of the way i responded to legit questions" what legit questions ?? GAME WORN VS GAME ISSUED doesnt make any different with my answers... i made mistake that mcnabb is game issued... if its game worn and it doesnt come with paperwork, you wuldnt buy it either . buyer that wants real game mcnabb jersey, they doesnt care if they want game worn or issued jersey. they would think the issued jerseys are much cheaper so i lose nothing here...

it doesnt stop you from buying it, and i think you are playing with words and trying make a point here, sorry you guys doesnt make any sense BUT all you do is pull people down. my mistake with words issued and worn led to this, why make big deal to a small time seller !?
once again, you will understand when someone post something on your items for sale and questioned your items without emailing personally first !
I THINK FORUM SHOULD ADD ONE MORE RULE, "ITEMS FOR SALE" EMAIL QUESTIONS ABOUT ITEMS TO SELLERS DIRECTLY , not posting on sellers items for sale.
