Re: Albert Pujols Jersy of his back Game Worn 8/23/2003

I am a self proclaimed idiot when it comes to Pujols items. This is just my observation. You have even sparked my interest in this item. If you have done that (for a die hard Cubbie fan), then to say that it would be well received in the auction community would be a gross understatement.

This is the best Pujols I have seen, ever. I'm sure some of the Cardinal experts may have seen similar. If I am a Cardinal fan or certainly a Pujols collector, this comes with everything you could ever dream of. It comes with tons of provenance, photos of Albert signing, and obviously it is having a ton of interest even in just our little world. If you are thinking of parting with it, I would certainly say to consign it. Selling outright might be quicker, but I think you would be kicking yourself when you see closing bid when it finally hits the auction block. This jersey will be the holy grail of quite a few collectors.
"We need rebirth of the American tradition of leadership ... in private life as well." "'Trust me' government asks that we concentrate our hopes and dreams on one man; that we trust him to do what's best for us. My view of government places trust not in one person or one party, but in those values that transcend persons and parties. The trust is where it belongs--in the people." - Ronald Reagan"

        Why are you selling this?

Keep it; you will regret selling it big time in the future!

Great collection of stuff. The board is obviously chomping at the bit for it. If its for sale still email me.

          Thanks

Unless you are out of work or there is an emergency...I agree with the above 100%. Something like this with the paper trail it has will be worth a fortune one day. 2003 was probably Albert's best statistical season.

I seriously envy you. Now put that thing back in the safe...

That's correct. I can't/won't mention the amount, but Authentic Gamers is now the proud owner of the collection.

The question now is will Authentic Gamers keep this great jersey for personal collection or will we soon see it back on the market?

Knowing Rob,I bet you he will keep it.
I have sold him plenty of Pujols items in the past and Iam pretty sure he still has all of them.

Did not connect Rob with Authentic Gamers when I wrote the post. Knowing that now, I too think he will keep it. Very nice pick up Rob, ENJOY!!!!
