Albert Pujols 2004 World Series Game Used Hat

I am selling my Albert Pujols 2004 World Series Game Used Away Hat. There are no markings under the bill and it is a 7 1/4. It was obtained by Albert's driver that weekend from him and the hat comes with a letter from the driver stating how he received it and it is signed by the driver. I am looking for $400 shipped. obo Let me know.

Is it possible to view the drivers LOA? There was a Ripken jersey sold a few years ago with a limo drivers LOA that was later found to be an issue.

Any insight is appreciated.

I don't have a way of putting the coa on here but it is the same guy that you talk of. His name is Anthony DiRusso. I got it a couple years ago so I dont have his contact info anymore or I would post that too. The letter I have is the story of that he was the driver for Pujols for the night after Game 1 and asked for the hat that he had. Any other questions I would be happy to answer.

No offense but don't you find that kind of questionable? Why would a limo driver simply ask Pujols for his hat? Isn't that something a little kid would do? And what was Pujols doing with his hat in the limo? Shouldn't it be in his locker at the stadium?

I remember this guy Anthony DiRusso selling this Pujols cap on ebay and contacted him asking if he could obtain a Albert Pujols World Series bat or bats from Red Sox players like Manny Ramirez, David Ortiz, Johnny Damon or other teams. I searched and located the e-mail from October 2004

That particular eBay seller's ID was something like "calripkensdriver." It was true that he was a driver for Cal toward the latter stages of his career when the Orioles were in Boston, but he never had access to any of Cal's Game Used stuff (just hit him up for TONS of autographs; which he was regularly selling). For those of you who remember that People's Court episode where the boys @ GREY FLANNEL sold that phony Ripken TBTC jersey, it was originally sourced to this guy. He used his picture with Cal, etc. to attempt to gain credibility by selling fake "game used" hats of star players. His account with eBay was suspended after Ripken's representatives informed eBay of this. Unfortunately, none of the hats he sold were legit...
