I have two (2) game used jerseys worn by Willy Taveras in the 2005 World Baseball Classic while playing for the Dominican Republic. These jerseys are UNWASHED and came straight off of Willy's back. These jerseys are used and filthy!
The road is a grey Majestic, size 44, and shows great use including dirt stains, sweat stains, and grass stains. The use is hard to show in the photos on a grey jersey, but it has plenty.
The home is absolutely hammered. It was obviously worn for a number of games per the puckering on the back numbers. This thing is filthy. Covered in dirt stains, sweat stains, grass stains, pine tar, and even some blood!
Both jerseys are MLB authenticated and have the "0062 WBC" wash tag sewn in. It would hard to find two better jerseys from the inaugural World Baseball Classic! I have seen some WBC jerseys pop up but none that are unwashed or show this use.
$800 for the pair or $450 each.
