The EMERALDS jersey brings back many memories!

I graduated from the University of Oregon, and the Emeralds Stadium was 2 blocks from my condo. This particular era was during the Cincinnati Reds ownership. Prior to this, the Emeralds were a farm team for the Phillies, and such greats as Mike Schmidt, Bob Boone and Greg Luzinski played just a few blocks from where I lived!

This is the first Emeralds/Reds era jersey I have ever seen enter the marketplace. If you collect Northwest League or Reds minor league jerseys, this is a real find! I know I'm going after it.

What a great and scarce jersey.

Thanks for your endorsement and information! The Emeralds had a few future major leaguers on the '78 roster. Wonder if they re-used jerseys? The 1980 Eugene Emeralds was Eric Davis' first pro team...
