Mark McGwire GU A's Warmup auto'd

Right now just a guestion: I have a gold McGwire A's warm-up jersey that is auto'd on the front. I may be interested in selling or trading the shirt. What would it be worth in terms of $$? As far as trade, I am interested in Kingman, Thome, 35/45/68/84 Tiger bats. Listen to any offers...

    Bob,

Approximately 9 months ago I purchased a McGwire 1996 green alternate jersey from a collector in S.F. It came with a LOA from the A's and I know the jersey very well as I bought it from the A's equipment manager and sold it to this collector three years ago. When I bought it back I paid $1,000.00. This is far less than what I sold it for and it illustrates how McGwire jerseys/equipment have decreased since his congressional hearing appearance.

For a McGwire game used warm-up I would not pay any more than $350.00.

I hope this helps and good luck.

Appreciate your response. I am in no hurry to sell/trade the shirt. It does sport a legit, bold, black auto. I am a collector, so trades are always welcome on it. I am seeking a Thome game used item, Kingman, or 68/84 Tiger bats, etc. Lots of things could fill the bill here. I think $350 is low with the auto. as we all know how tough he is as well as Steiner being the source for him with sigs these days...
