1978 Game Used Yankees Jersey #23
I have for sale a pretty neat jersey. It's an away jersey tagged 1973 and the name Callison in the collar. Johnny Callison wore number 25 (in '73) and played 16 repectable years in the majors. The thing that is neat about this jersey after doing a little research is: The jersey was changed from number 25 to 23. After receiving the jersey, I noticed the name "Garcia" written in blue marker in the collar. In 1978, Damaso Garcia played for the Yankees and wore number 23. With those facts, I think it is safe to say that this jersey was also worn during that championship 1978 year. The jersey shows a ton of use! COA from Steiner Sports.
