Re: Boggs, Carter, Winfield bat for sale

Jim Caravello has pointed out to me that 34" Boggs bats were not recorded as being ordered by the Red Sox/Boggs during the 86-89 time period. All 34" bats were sent to Baseball Promotions or Baseball Miscellanous. Though the bat displays the characteristics of Boggs use of pine tar and hit marks under the labeling it may indicate that it made it to Boggs hand. In light of this new found information I will take offers for what a buyer or collector thinks a "professional model bat which exhibits characteristic use by Wade Boggs but not officially matching factory records as ordered/sent by Boggs" is worth.

      Thanks again Jim!
