Bruce Wendell was held in pretty high regard by the Philadelphia Phillies. When the team won a World Series title in 1980, it applied a "World Champions" logo to the right chest of the jackets. This burgundy knit, zippered front warm up jacket belonged to Wendell, the former Vice President of Promotions for Capitol Records, who doubled as the team's bat boy when it came to the West Coast. The club's "P" logo is applied in burgundy on white tackle twill and a Wilson [size] "42" tag is centered in the collar. An amazing relic which celebrates the last time the Phillies tasted championship champagne.
