The owner of the photo-matched Tino Martinez bat used by Albert Pujols has decided to sell it. I posted a message about this bat last week seeking members' thoughts on whether it was a true photo match. Here's the link: http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/vb_f...ead.php?t=4124
The bat was used by Albert in early May 2002 in Wrigley Field. It was matched to a dated slide that was part of the Fleer liquidation. In addition to the bat, the buyer will receive the original slide, a certificate granting full ownership rights to the slide, and a CD containing a high-res (6,000 dpi) scan of the slide.
If this was a photo-matched bat with Albert's name on the barrel instead of Tino's, it likely would sell for $4,000 or more. Given Tino's name is on the barrel, the asking price is $2,500.

Please contact me via e-mail if interested. Thanks.
