Cal Ripken 1994 Nike Game Used Cleats

    CAL RIPKEN COLLECTORS:

I'm finally parting with some of my Ripken collection due to debt and employment circumstances. Up for grabs is an incredible pair of Cal's cleats used during the 1994 season. I hate to part with these items but family always comes first!

      Jason,
Signed in silver sharpie I believe; didn't know there was a difference.........just a matter of semantics. How do you discriminate between the two?

        Dan-
It's a real shame you are forced to sell such an amazing pair of Ripken spikes. I've only seen a handful of Ripken spikes in all of my years in the hobby, and this pair is one of the best.

Last time we spoke, you were going to try to make contact with Lou Lampson and get a refund on your green Ripken St. Patricks jersey that he wrote the LOA for. Did you ever put closure to this issue?

            Dan-
We have discussed via telephone your situation with the green St. Patrick's jersey several times. You indicated you were going to try to resolve it with the auction house/and or Lampson. Any update?

One would have to believe you would try to get a refund on your fake shirt first, before having to part with your 1994 Ripken spikes based on the previous informaiton you posted.

            Just my thoughts.

              Howard,

This is the 5th e-mail (with no response) pressing Dan to further address the St. Pat's jersey, you are obsessed with it .....

                Dave-
I just find it a bit hard to believe that Dan surfaced the fact on this forum that he purchased a green St. Patrick's Day jersey as "game worn", based on a LOA written by Lou Lampson, and then learns ON THIS FORUM that his shirt is fake, the Lampson LOA worthless, and the Orioles never wore St. PAtrick's jerseys! Furthermore, from Dan's previous postings and my conversations with him, I understand that he spent over $4,000 on a completely fake shirt and has done absolutely nothing in terms of even trying to obtain a refund or take legal action.

Now, his post specifically notes, "I'm finally parting with some of my Ripken collection due to debt". Dave, I have to believe that most people in this hobby would try to recover $4,000 from a fake shirt BEFORE parting with prized collectibles (Ripken spikes) from their personal collection to raise needed funds and deal with debt.

Yes Dave I'm always amazed how many people in life simply look the other way when faced with cold hard facts that they have been "had". Obsessed? No, just amazed......

                  Hey Dan,

The only difference I know of between the silver sharpie and paint is the paint pen is a little more shiny/bright and the sharpie is a little more dull. Not a matter really, the autos look great, I was just wondering.

                  Thanks
