    Don Mattingly Rookie Bat

    For Sale: 1984 - 1985 M110 Walker Finish Don Mattingly Signature Model Game Used Bat. Very rare Mattingly bat to find these days - Per the shipping records, bat is most likely from 1984, his rookie season with the Yankees. This bat is uncracked - has great tar markings - has Donnie's #23 on the knob - shows moderate use on the barrel - no deadwood and no pieces missing. Bat also has a perfect gold signature on the barrel.

    Price - $1,750 ( includes shipping and insurance )

      I don't collect Yanks, but if I did that Mattingly is clearly world class. What a sweet auto as well!

          Ditto. Almost makes me want to start collecting the Yanks. Jim, this is a gorgeous and incredible bat! If only I could break out of my Dodgers-only focus without my wife killing me.

              Jim's bats are normally among the very top examples out there. This bat is no exception. And I appreciate the reasonable description as the bat looks like it has very good game use indeed, but Jim describes it as moderate (which is a refreshing change from all of the bats with light use that are commonly described by sellers as having "excellent" game use).

                  Mattingly bat is sold! Thanks for everyone's interest and all the compliments.....Reid - thanks for the kind words..........Anything I sell comes with a no questions asked refund ( although I have never had anyone return a bat I have sold ).

                      I just received the Yount bat Jim sold on another thread and I agree with all the comments posted. The bat has tons of use and is exactly as Jim described it. His bats are top caliber as are the other bats I have purchased through collectors on this forum. Great job Jim, and keep up the good work!
