Everyone, I purchased the bat from Tom with the plans and hopes of reselling the bat for a small profit. I was able to sell the bat to a Philadelphia collector, who is the one that listed the bat on ebay, an obviously had the same hopes as I did. In light of this thread, I emailed the seller of the bat on ebay (the buyer of my bat) and asked that the bat be removed. The bat should be coming off of ebay this morning.

I don't want Tom's name to be dragged through the mud, as he wasn't the one who listed the bat on ebay. Neither was I, as I was just the middleman. I can not comment for why Tom has not decided to answer any questions on the forum, but he answered all the questions I had via email.

We just finalized a deal over the weekend, so obviously I don't have the bat yet. Tom sent me more detailed photos per my request to which I passed along to the buyer in Philadelphia. The buyer had full knowledge that the bat was not in my possession yet.

This is crazy, I was approached all weekend over this bat from someone who did not have the bat, and admitted today-he had not even purchased the bat yet, but saw my want ad and was trying to make a quick 200.00. The bottom line of this thread and the whole business now is-- WAY TOO MANY PEOPLE ON HERE AND OTHER SITES ARE JUST OUT TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK! Collecting used to be fun. Guys like this are ruining the hobby quick.

I did not care if the bat was a first year or second year bat, that was not the issue, I was concerned about the legitimacy of the bat, because the approach this seller took sounded like a used car salesman in the 70's. The bat probably is a good bat but the approach and intent was really inappropriate.

My bs meter is going off big time since reading this thread . I had to take notes on this before putting in my two-cents . So , Lets see if I understand , Begnya (Tom) sells bat to Drew Scott (but he STILL doesn't have it yet, according post yesterday), and sells the bat to Gramsval who is selling the bat on ebay (but , he doesn't even have the bat yet either) . So I want to know who has the bat ??? If Gramsval "bought" the bat ? Why in the world would the supposed new owner of the bat have to remove the listing from ebay ?????????? ON THREE EVERYONE "B***S***!" .... I think there could be members out there with multiple ebay and GUU user id's !

I think we need our own game used memorabilia TV network. GUTV perhaps? I think it could become quite popular. The show lineup would be something like:

1. HGTVs "Flip That House" / GUTVs "Flip That Bat".
2. MTVs "Made: I Want To Be Popular" / GUTVs "Made: I Want To Be An Authenticator"
3. "People's Court"/ GUTVs..."People's Court".
4. A&Es "Intervention" (show about people fighting addiction) / GUTVs..."Intervention" (show about people fighting addiction)

As you can see, the possibilities are endless. It appears we would even have our first episode of "Flip That Bat" lined up.

First off, I just got back in town and logged on. I can't believe how this thing has gone crazy! I will be able to clear most of it up with this thread. First off, all of you people that have nothing else to do (Howie Blake) check my Ebay feedback over 7 years and see how bad of a guy I am! Secondly, I buy to either keep or turn and make a profit, if possible. Is there anything wrong with that? I bought the Howard bat to keep it, then once I saw his numbers go crazy, I decided to list it, and yes I had it looked at and is a rookie season bat(that was last year). He only has used Sam & Marucci this year, ONLY! Go back and check out my original listing on page two from 9/5, listing the Howard & Rowand bats together. Look at ClubhouseCollectibles where he says the package is sold if still available. Well we corresponded and told him it was his since he made the first offer. I had the Rowand listed on Ebay and ended up selling it after not selling it like six times. I went back and told him and he didn't care, he just wanted the Howard. This brings us to present. I sent hime the scans, the same scans that showed up under my so called "Alias" account(check with Ebay if you don't believe me). Well I never received the money, I still have the bat, and this person has disappeared without a trace! Who's the bad guy now? He wanted the scans to sell the bat, keep the money, and screw the buyer! What do you think of that Howie? I love it how everyone turned into Mr. Detective and went as far as looked at my other auctions and figured out what kind of floor I have in my house! Anyway, I have the bat, Ryan will break the record for non-juiced players and the price will continue to go up! After all this, if there is anyone that is interested and wasn't one to insult me, then please feel free to contact me. ClubhouseCollectibles needs to be kicked off this forum. My bad, I didn't read ALL the threads. ClubhouseCollectibles has responded as you can see. From what I can gather now, they were going to flip it which is fine, but you should pay for the item before you flip it. Now I have no idea who listed it on Ebay. As I said, they were the scans I sent to them and they turned around and sent to their buyer. ClubhouseCollectibles, I'm still waiting for payment that you said went out on Monday. Thank you.

I don't think anyone's jealous, I asked Tom a simple question and wanted him to explain how does he know for sure that the bat is Ryan Howard's rookie bat as LVS is not releasing any current bat ordering information for MLB players. I could care less if he bought the bat of ebay and is doubling his money.

I like the part when Tom says "yes I had it looked at and is a rookie season bat(that was last year)." How do you know for sure, without any factory ordering records. Also Tom says "He only has used Sam & Marucci this year", how do you know this for sure? Have you viewed Ryan Howard's every at bat during the MLB season like Birdbats does for Albert Pujols? This Ryan Howard LVS bat may have been used during this years spring training or for BP or even an MLB game, nobody knows for sure.

Like Eric said if your going to list an item for sale on the forum you should answer any questions that are raised about that item. If Tom would have answered the questions in a timely fashion, this thread would not have gone to where it's at.
