Bill Heagy, by no means would I ever want to insult you sir, you are a great person and scholar. Without getting into all of the old emails, let me ask you this, if you saw this bat listed over and over again without selling at $200., why didn't you just buy it through Ebay where everything is legit? You said you offered me $200. right? Maybe if you planned on paying that in the first place, I wouldn't have listed it over and over. Bill thank you again for your contribution to Game Used Universe, without people like yourself, it wouldn't be the huge success that it is!

      Tom Brandi,
First you told me it was sold after I made you the offer. If you remember I had asked you for specific images of the use on the bat/bats (there were two) you refered me to the listing which I had already viewed and requested additional photos which you never attempted to supply. Then I had asked for specific lengths of the bats - you said they were almost the same length (you never had the lengths listed). Step by step 1. Failed to supply additional photos 2. could not specify lengths, 3. you told me it was sold. With all that being said I was not comfortable bidding on the item (after you said it was sold) given all the above info plus I figured you did not want to sell to me for whatever reason. At any rate I am happy for you because you got $300 for it. I do not like your implication on the other hand. I have dealt with other forum members and have had successful transactions buying and selling. I have thousands of happy customers on ebay as well. I contribute when I can with whatever knowledge I may happen to have in that specific area. I enjoy this hobby and this forum. Not here to make enemies. So with that being said I wish you the best of luck in all you do. If your ever in Adamstown PA please feel free to stop by and say hello. Take Care

          Hi Tom,

This post of yours has me completely befuddled. You are registered with this site as Thomas Brandi (this is a fact, as I just looked it up again). Also, I bought an item from you on eBay once (years ago) and you corresponded with me as Tom Brandi.

I'm not trying to start an argument (really I'm not), but I am terribly confused here. Could you clarify what you meant by your last post for forum members? I know that I am not the only one who is baffled by this.

          Thanks,

          Reid

              Howard,

I don't remember for certain, but I recall it was somewhere in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Based on Tom's previous posts, personal attacks on other Forum readers, lies and now this, I'ts hard to believe you would do anything except ban him from the Forum.

Boy the name Tom Brandi sounds real familiar from the past.

Someone must know this name also, but why does it stick out when I read it?

                        Joel-
I searched my records and discovered that I had communicated quite a bit with a Tom Brandi from Pennsylvania back in 1989/90 while living in Seattle. This guy claimed to be extremely tight with Pete Rose and attended quite a few shows where Rose was signing. He constantly was calling me, seeking anything worn by Rose with the Reds or Phillies. All I remember about him was the fact that he would talk my head off on the phone, and delve into these crazy stories about how he had met Rose and knew of collectors who had this and that item from Rose that he would love to have. Blah, Blah Blah........

Maybe this will jog your memory, too.

Geoff, you are dead right. Now I remember where that name came from.

Tom Brandi wrestled in the old WWF as Salvatore Sincere and had a nice feud going with Marvelous Marc Mero and Rena "Sable" Mero, which ended suddenly with no conclusion.

I remember years ago I used to help with an auction house that I consigned many items to. Tom was one of the regular bidders, and when he called he would talk professional wrestling with us.

I have no idea the scenerio that took place, who is who, who is telling the truth but the outcome is an embarrassment to our hobby. I will never buy, sell or trade with any of these guys.
                                Forum Members,

It seems A.J was the third seller of the bat and Tom was the second. Now if he is the second seller we have to find how he actually got the bat. I think that is the main thing here. Scott or AJ now seem to be trying to pass it around. Where did this random Ryan Howard bat actually come from? Howard asked earlier in this thread who is the mystery man behind the bat, we have have some names but I think we haven't found him yet.
