    Keith Hernandez Game Used Rookie Bat for Sale

    Hello Forum / Universe Members - I have a 1973 - 1975 Keith Hernandez R43 Louisville Slugger Signature Model Rookie Era Game Used Bat for Sale - bat matches perfectly to LS shipping records and shows heavy use and tar - with a repaired crack on the upper handle through the centerbrand. Great early Hernandez bat.....Hernandez's number on the knob.....from a former bat boy collection......will have pics available by the end of the week. I really don't know how to price this one, as I have never seen another Hernandez bat from this early in his career. JT Sports has a 1976 Bi-Centennial gamer on their website for $799.......would welcome any thoughts / offers......a very tough bat indeed.....       Folks - here are some pics of the Keith Hernandez ROOKIE game used bat I am selling. Once again - the bat is either from 1973 or 1974, as Hernandez did not order R43 bats in 1975. His #18 is on the knob, which is the number he wore with the Cards in 1974. I believe the bat is from 1974, as I got it from a former bat boy in the majors. The bat has awesome use and tar - a repaired crack near the centerbrand that is done perfectly. Vintage Hernandez signature on the barrel. If anyone is interested, let me know - JT Sports just sold a 76 Hernandez for $799 on their website. This bat is even tougher to find than that one. The 76 lasted about two days.
