Never thought I would sell it but I found something else I need. Here is a game worn 1948 Dick Bartell Kansas City Blues hat. The Kansas City Blues were the Yankees minor league team in the American Association. Dick Bartell was the manager. He played for the Pirates, Phillies, and Tigers during his career and also managed the Reds. He has an outside shot at the Hall of Fame as he is one of the names on the long list for the Veteran's Committee vote. His nickname was "Rowdy Richard" for his aggressive style of play. The hat is made by Wilson and is roughly a size 7 with a white leather band. He wrote his name and the year he wore it on the inside band. I have matched the handwriting with autographs I have of him. Price is $300.
