For sale, an 80-3 LV slugger GU bat, flame burned, R43 with ball marks and cleat marks, heavy pine tar, "V" on knob, UC. Please see scans and/or email for more details. The bad news: this bat does not appear to match factory records. The good news: 1) this came directly to me from Reid, aka Sportscentury. 2) a Bench R43 80-83 LV exactly like this one sold via Vintage this spring with a Bushing/MEARS LOA grading it a 7 or 8; i don't know what he knows that we don't, but he obviously liked that one. (it sold for close to 1,000) 3) This bat comes with a letter from the batboy that originally got it. I paid $650 for it, will sell for same.
