2006 Manny Ramirez game used LVS M9 P72 bat

Up for sale is a Manny Ramirez game used 2006 LVS M9 P72. Bat has numerous ball marks and deep seem impressions on the barrel above the label since Manny is a label up hitter. Bat depicts Manny characteristics with pine tar on the handle/trademark and cleat marks on the handle of the bat as well as bat rack marks. Bat shows excellent use and has 24 on both the knob and the top of the barrel. Bat was obtained from source who obtained it directly from Manny while the Sox were in NY from May 9th-May 11th. Bat was game used during late April, early May 2006 and received it from my source shortly thereafter. $550 delivered.

First off i am not questioning the seller whatsoever.I believe the reason this bat has not sold is first off the pine tar application on this bat does not fly with Mannys traits.Manny loads his pine tar higher on the handle and there would be much more of it as well.Secondly there are no knob pictures.Mannys #24 is a very important thing for a Ramirez or Sox collector in general. There are very few variations on the knob writing style of Manny and Sox bats.My advice..better pictures first of all.Secondly you can never trust even a player source. It is well within the realm of possibilities that this bat was used by someone else.Although this is by no means fact the possibility of it and the pine tar application partially backing up this possibility is what is driving sellers away. The price you set is the norm for a Manny bat that shows his specific traits.

While the pics do not show it, there is pinetar on the trademark as is consistent with Manny bats.

Also, there was no specific reason to not post pics of the knob in the posting. The "24" on the knob matches another LVS P72 which I presume was numbered by the same clubhouse attendant. As I said, please contact me if you are interested in me sending more pics to you. I will post pics shortly.

In addition, the traits evident are very similar to the bat that you sold in December except my bat exhibits more use above the barrel.

I have handled many Manny bats and this bat exhibits the same characteristics that were evident on other Manny game used bats.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns.

In response to the bat i sold it had numerous DEEP seam marks above the writing on the barrel. It also has much more pine tar overall and on the centerbrand.I want to clear up that all i have written is opinion.I do not know the seller nor do i think he is dishonest in any way.It is my opinion only that the bat has not sold because of the reasons i listed below.90%+ of all legit Manny gamers you see are just covered in pine tar especially on the centerbrand and shouldn't be hard to pick up in any picture. All my Manny bats share this.This...is what keeps people away from this bat.Thats all i'm trying to get at here. When you see little amounts of pine tar on a Soriano bat or a Vladimir Guerrero bat that always drives the price down. Why would this be different?Manny is just as notorious with his pine tar traits as well.
