Selling for a friend of mine - a gorgeous 1985 ALL ORIGINAL Phil Niekro Game Used Yankees Jersey.........one of the nicest mid-80's Yankees jerseys I have handled. Jersey is a Wilson Size 44 - with all original tagging in the collar and no alterations of any kind. Jersey has memorial armband worn in the second half of 1985 for the death of Pete Sheehy. Jersey was acquired in Grey Flannel auction and comes with their COA. Original auction tag still attached to jersey. Jersey has team repaired ( very small patch - about the size of a dime - but mentioned for accuracy ) area under one sleeve. Lastly, jersey shows excellent game use - buttons slide in and out easily and tail tag shows excellent use from washings and wear. There are a lot of Yankees jerseys in the market these days due to Steiner - but pre-1990 gems like this are drying up - especially with an armband intact.
