I recently obtained a signed, game used bat of Rickey Henderson from fellow forum member Reid Fontaine. Regrettably, I am forced to sell it and am open to any and all offers for the bat - the best one will be accepted. The description is below:
This is a game used Rickey Henderson bat from 2002 during Rickey's days on the Boston Red Sox. This bat features incredible use. It is caked with pine tar all around the handle up until the "R" on the Rawlings centerbrand. The knob of the bat is taped and brown from all of the use and pine tar it has come in contact with. About 4-6 inches down from the Rawlings logo is a small crack, indicative of even more incredible use. On the barrel of the bat are many ball, rack and cleat marks as well as a completely worn out "Big Stick / Ricky Henderson" (misspelled) / Red Sox" from all of the repeated pounding this section of the bat took. The barrel also has a beautiful Henderson signature in blue Sharpie inscribed "2003" (the year of the signing). This bat is truly a piece of history and I personally have never seen a bat with more use than this.
