    8x10s from Dens Christmas Show

    Friends,

We just wrapped up our Christmas Show, here in Detroit , Michigan. We
    had the following Special Guests...........

Friday Night, was Hockey Hall Of Famer Ted Lindsay. For those of you
who aren't huge hockey fans, Ted was part of what was called THE
PRODUCTION LINE, whitch consisted of Gordie Howe, Sid Abel and Team
Captain, Ted Lindsay. All three are Hall Of Famers and sadly Mr. Abel
    is no longer with us.

Ted is still in great shape and signed Pucks, Photos, Hockey Sticks,
Bobbleheads, Jerseys, and posed with the fans for photos. Mr. Lindsay
was so popular with the fans that he stayed extra long just to make
sure everyone that came out received a signature. When the older
players make public appearances, they come out dressed in a suit and a
    tie. Classy and professional.

Next up, was Andy Cannavinno, who was the Captain of the 1980 U of M
football team under Bo Shembechler. All of Coach Shembechlers former
players have the utmost in respect for Bo, and Andy is certainly no
different. Andy finished up his career with the Michigan Panthers with
former U Of M star Anthony Carter..

Our last Guest was NFL Hall Of Famer Lem Barney. Mr. Barney is a
minister in his church and is one of three men to wear the Detroit
Lions # 20 before it was retired. Billy Sims, and Barry Sanders were
    the other two.

Lem is always a joy to work with and he always makes sure that the fans
leave the table with a smile on their face. Lem always signs, his name
and # and Hall Of Fame year on your item. Lem is one of the players
that I truly enjoy working the autograph table with, and the man always
has time to talk to the young kids, who want to play football also when
    they grow up.

Mr. Barney ended up buying me an ice cream when we took a small break,
and insisted on giving my mother a hug and kiss when she stopped up to
say hello. He later stated to me, " When you are nice, to people, its
comes back for you also" Good Words to live by........

I also have a few extras from the show...........

Can you describe the Lem Barney action shot? I used to have an old photo of Lem when I was a kid. Hung on my bedroom wall.It was a great shot from I believe the 69 seasn because the jersey had the NFL 50th anniv. patch. It was a close up shot of him backpeddaling into coverage he had the old 1 bar helmet and the spatted shoes. Very cool photo . Still sticks in my mind . Any chance it's the same photo?
