This is Larry Bird's game used 1991-92 road jersey. Everything is correct on jersey. Champion 1991 +3 body length. Champion size 46 washing tag. You'll see a few of his home jerseys from this year here and there, but you'll rarely find his road jerseys up for sale or auction.
Light use, which is common for Bird's gamers during this time period. Autographed in black sharpie pen on back #. Everything sewn on. I guarantee to the buyer that jersey will pass Mears or Grey Flannel inspection or money back. Asking 1950.00 or best offer. I will also consider trades for a Larry Bird warmup jacket or game used Reds bats/jerseys from the 1970s. My scans are too big I guess, so email me if interested and I'll email pictures to you. I recall on the old board you discussing that there should to be extra spacing between the name and numbers on the back for these Champions as per your extensive research of Bird game photos from this time, and to stay away from ones that don't have it. I thought from the photo that this one doesn't seem to have that extra spacing, or maybe it could just be the angle of the photo? Please advise as I am intersted in the jersey.

Dave, that's very true, but only on his HOME jerseys, not his road jerseys. See the photos I've posted with this jersey and you'll see that the spacing is correct for the 1991-92 road jerseys. I would stay away from his home jerseys without the extra spacing. I don't know why ebay took so long to load my auction, but it's up and running now. Go check out the photos. Here's some scans of Larry (and Parish) wearing his road jersey in 91-92. Note the spacing.

Hi Greg,

More than likely the reason for the extra time to load was because of the "buy it now" feature that was used. For some reason all the auctions I've ever done that had that feature took several hours to load where as the regular auctions are up within seconds.
