1994 Colorado Rockies Road Jersey w/125th Patch ? Galarraga Spring Training ?

This has been sitting in my trunk for a number of years so that's why it looks so wrinkled in the pictures. I obtained this jersey indirectly from Dick Dobbins whom I believe to be the original source.

At the time it was represented as an Andres Galarraga 1994 Spring Training jersey. I never did do the proper research so I can't honestly verify this but I believed at the time to be so. The jersey shows a lot of wear so it is possible that it was used in spring training in both 1993 and 1994.

Galarraga was just coming off an MVP caliber year, winning the batting title the previous year with a .370 average for the new expansion Rockies.

Notes: The size 48 would seem to be consistent with Galarraga at the time. The 125th patch and the Rockies patch do NOT appear to be newly sewn on. The Rockies patch in particular shows signs of many washes and drying cycles.

The numbers on the back are very faded.

The numbers also appear to have been switched. The original number was 41 and it appears the numbers have been removed and switched to 14. Given the source of this jersey I believe this was a team change.

    Taking offers.

Sorry to say, this is a minor league jersey, not a Galarraga or spring training jersey. Most likely a Casper Rockies jersey. The Anniversary patch is the minor league version. The MLB version of the 125th patch is void of the “Professional Baseball”. Plus, the Rockies have had the NOB on roads from their inception.

Thanks for the info...it's still available and I'm open to offers.
