I'm offerring an item that was presented to the Met's Jesse Orosco for making the 1983 N.L. All Star team. The items is a silver (or silver plated) Bowl that stands approx. 9.5" tall (open mouth is nearly 9") with the inscription "1983 All Star Game (National League Logo) -Presented to Jesse Orosco; Charles S. Feeney (engraved signature) President.
1983 was Orosco's sole All Star appearance during an illusturous career.
The item is badly tarnished/weathered and I am offering it in the exact condition I obtained it approx. 6 months ago (I don't know the first thing on how to clean this up). The items has a couple dings as well as the lip of the base is bent a little, however if you are handy or know someone in the jewelry business, this would make a great unique/display item for a Mets fan.
Price is only $400 (plus postage and insurance) and that reflects the present condition.
