Your welcome Scott. I was able to get some stuff signed by Shinjo when he played for the Mets here in NY thru a clubhouse contact. He was pretty cool from what I hear. The prices for his Met stuff was sky high with most of the $$ coming out of Japan as they were hungry for his MLB items. The guy was like a rock star in Japan!

Any Kaz Matsui or Shinjo bats???

I have a very interesting Shinjo bat. It's 2001 Joe McEwing bat which has the silver labeling blackened because Shinjo was under contract with Japanese bat company Descente and was not allowed to use other bats.

The bat has Shinjo's number 5 on the knob and traces of his signature red batting gloves.
