I am totally confused. The picture of Romo from the Patriots game that pops up using the getty images link has him wearing a blue jersey with a pink captains patch. I don't see a navy patch but a pink one. I know I am not color blind since I see pink. Explain what you see, please. Thanks.

Are you serious? The patch is pink? I actually am colorblind and this is the first instance that it has come up in the hobby. While I have had problems with certain colors (blue and purple look the same, red green and brown look the same) I've never confused blue and pink. If the patch is pink, then that proves exactly the opposite of what I said in my post and the jersey was most likely worn during the Patriots game.

I'm not taking sides, but as someone who was interested in this jersey, I will share what I know. All of the following information is easily found on the internet, I used wikipedia and getty images. The Cowboys began wearing Captain patches last season (2011). They played 3 games in the month of October. At the Patriots, at home against the Rams, and at the Eagles. They wore white jerseys against both the Rams and the Eagles. They wore navy against the Patriots. However, against the Patriots the Captain patches worn were Navy and not pink. While the jersey may have been worn in 2009 or even in 2011, I think it is clear that is has been altered since being worn. It may have been altered by the team, but it was not worn with the pink patch.

For that reason, I am no longer interested in the jersey.

The Cowboys wore their blues on Oct. 16, 2011 versus the Patriots which was a game for BCA. I don't know who served as the captains in that game. My Elam jersey which I posted in the thread for Denver Broncos stuff originally came from NFL Auctions. It was from a game in 2004 but the jersey is tagged 2002. NFL teams use older jerseys all the time as long as the style is the same. I have a Chargers jersey made by Addidas and the team covered the Addidas sleeve tag with a blue patch when the NFL changed to Reebok.

Are you serious? I think before you open your mouth you should check someones reputation. All of my cowboys items come directly from the cowboys. I've had more than 50. Why would I jeopardize my reputation on a freaking Mat Mcbriar jersey? You do realize jerseys are reused correct? Just because the tag says one year doesn't mean it was for sure used that season. All I know is that it was used in an October game because they only wear pink in October. If you want pics of the patches stitching that's no problem because it was put on the jersey by the Cowboys. I had never researched the patch, but you have educated me that they didn't start wearing the C until 2011. So it will make the jersey easier to photomatch. But I would never alter a jersey because this hobby is my passion.

I don't think you have the slightest idea of what ur talking
about. If your gonna say there game used at least do some
research. No one wore captian patches in 09, much less Mcbriar.
Then u say there from either the broncos or chiefs game.
When they played the broncos they wore white. Chiefs they wore
the throwback jersey. Just admit their issued jerseys with EBay
patches, maybe then they would sell.
