I saw the pic and it is a batting practice jersey. You can tell by the lines that run vertical down by the armpits....

this came right from the RAYS anyone with 160 can buy it right now I paid way more then that

I thought you bought it at Nationals how would you be able to know that it came directly from the Rays if you weren't the original purchaser?

Its a BP/Spring Training jersey. With the exception of the jerseys they wore against the Yankees in japan (which also contain a Ricoh Copier patch), they didn't wear Green jerseys until 2005. Other than that series they didn't switch to Majestic as their game jersey until 2005. Upton wore #9 in 2004, prior to the additions of Green and majestic. And even then, that jersey had white letters with blue outline, and their numbers on the front. This is a very nice find, and 46 is the correct size for Upton. Its highly likely that it was issued to Upton. However, I have serious doubts that this style was ever used in a game.
