Very unusual design. I didn't expect there to be a hole in the bottom, but I guess that makes sense, else you wouldn't be able to get the items out.

Yeah. I only need four at the moment, but holders seem like one of those things that you'll always need more of at some point.

Are they UV protective? How many years is the protection supposed to last?
