This thread brings back memories. I own 2 David Cone Mets jerseys. Oddly enough, in both cases, I email the seller a fair offer. One jersey was early on in an ebay auction with a low starting price and no bids; the other was in a private collection and the owner was contemplating putting it up for auction. Both sellers scoffed at my offers, and in the end, I wound up being the "winning bidder" on both; each for a fraction of what I had previously offered.

I bashed the head in of a loan shark named D'Vinci Cone with an Adirondack Joe Pepitone bat on Ft Hamilton Parkway in '81 . I need to get rid of it you can have it for nothing. It's kind of game used with strike marks and I think there's some hair stuck in the deadwood.
