Dave, he's having one hell of a time. Great to see, and great to see all the items popping up on eBay. Already got another bat and several cards that I was missing.

David, there was a pink bat ($450 or so), a regular bat ($220 or so), and a ST jersey ($300ish). Would have loved all three, but the prices were higher than I wanted to go (regular bat was more than twice as high as they normally go, underbidder on the ST jersey, and the pink bat was just there to vex me, it seems). Oh well, as long as Gomes keeps playing there will always be more of his game used out there

Sorry it took so long to reply. I'm sure I'll pick up some batting gloves eventually, when I get closer to completing a uniform (pants/helmet/cap, anyone?). However, for the time being I'm passing on them, unless I find some that are really cheap; there just isn't the cachet with batting gloves that there is with some other equipment.
