I just got the Complete Reference Guide by Vince Malta. Great book. Now i was looking at Hornsby records and it says in 1925 he put a symbol of a star on the knob. Now on the bat i have it but it dont really look like a star. So what im asking is does anyone have a photo of this star symbol they are talking about. I dont kow if the symbol on my bat is from a lathe mark or not. Also why would a 125 store model bat have a lathe mark on it. Thanks
