I wish it was a player image decal bat, but it is still nice to get one. It is 33 inches long and indicates that it is a softball bat, made by the "DARRAH BROS. LTD" in Quebec canada.
I picked up a great lot of assorted baseball stuff this weekend..unusal for Vancouver to find baseball items. Unsure of the bat's vintage...any help would be appreciated. Also, I found another bat with a worn out circular barrel logo ...loooks like a "MARATHON" sporting? "GOODS" "model "4029" ...with a nice tapered handle and the initials "JJO" stamped on the knob and on the side. it is 34 1/2 icnhes long. The last one is plain and well used, but appears old. It measures 36 1/2 inches long and is heavy! No makers marks. Any help identifying the era of these would be appreciated. Thanks!
