Johnny Hodapp bat used by Joe Sewell

Hello,

There was a bat for auction one ebay. It was a Johnny Hodapp signature model bat from the 1920's or so that was autographed by Joe Sewell and said to be used by him and Hodapp as players back in the day shared bats. Is this true that [players did this regularly? Is there any account of Sewell doing this with Hodapp's bats? It looks to be a legit Hodapp bat. Any issues you can see about this bat, let me know.

I say its entirely possible - players still use each others bats today.

Sewell and Hodapp played together for the Tribe from 1925-30. If the labeling matches up to that time frame, it would make sense.

Sewell died in 1990 and the sig style matches up to my example from the same time period - looks legit.
