Comiskey Park Seat: Green or Natural????

I have a Comiskey seat that Im looking to find out information about. I was told when I got this that it was stripped to its original state because it was or bought for a White Sox fan who watched games when the seats were not green. He stripped the paint off so it would look like when he remembered it. I have included a picture.

That looks like a stripped Comiskey Park seat to me. I'm not sure they were ever natural, and tend to doubt it in fact, but I can tell you from experience of stripping some seats that they were painted all kinds of colors over the years. Green was just the latest color.

In case you'd be interested in selling your seat, let me know. I'm a Harold Baines collector and like the No. 3 on yours.

I don't see how they could ever have been unfinished since the wood couldn't survive the Chicago outdoor weather. I only remember the color being blue and then finally in green.

The seat I stripped also was painted red at one time.
