Melvin Ott Major League Bat

Hi, I have a Melvin Ott Special Major league No. 35S bat that I was hoping for some information on. This comes from Long Island from my grandmothers house and I know it has been there since about the 50s. This is about 33 inches long and 31-1/2 oz. and is in very good as found condition with no chips or cracks. I have included a picture and any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tammy
