Mid 70's Detorit Tigers game used cap help

Just got this in the mail today.
Any ideas on what year it might be from and who might have wore it?
Seller said it was once part of the Dick Dobbins collection. The size tag is all worn or tore off. There is just a little piece of it left hanging.
I have narrowed it down to the following coaches that wore #52 in the 70's. off. Thanks for any and all help/info.
1970 Len Okrie
1971-73 Charlie Silvera
1974 Cot Deal
1975 Steve Hamilton
1976-78 Fredd Fred Gladding
1979 John Grodzicki
1980 Roger Craig

Hi........I know the size tag is missing, but in your best guess, what size do you feel the cap is? We can start there in finding out who this cap belonged to. Thanks!

The seller thought 7-1/2.
I measured and compared it to a 7-3/8 I had handy and it looked a little bigger than that. So I am guessing it's around 7-1/2 .

Okay Adam.......the next thing lets look at is the interior of the cap........the area right behind the "D" which are the 2 off white panels. Would you post a good clear closeup picture of that? I can then do some comparisons and narrow this thing down a bit more. Thanks!
