Antique? Hockey Goalie Pads

Need some help from some Hockey Guys. Picked up these great looking old pads. I was thinking maybe 1930s era? Marked on side Kenesky made in Canada. I am in the process of cleaning the leather. I know old Hockey stuff is very difficult to find - Are these really great or just so so. Thanks in advance for any help.

Probably more like 50's or 60's era, but still cool.
