Has anyone ever seen this style of Cardinals flannel anywhere but this Rawlings-issued photo (see previous post).

The style doesn't show up in Mark Okkonen's reference guide, nor on the BBHOF's Dressed To The Nines website. Dating it would lead me to believe it was from somewhere around 1956, based on the left sleeve logo on this jersey that appeared on the acknowledged game used 1956 home and road styles.

Is it a prototype that was rejected? Something else? Jeff, any ideas?

I await any input that would enlighten all of us.
