    Adirondack labeling question

Does anyone know what period the attached centerbrand is from? An odd thing, too, is that the knob is to the right of the centerbrand, which is opposite all modern bats, so if I put the bat in my bat rack, and align it like the others, the centerbrand is upside-down.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Without seeing the full bat, I'd assume that it falls into the 1946-1950 date range. Does it say "302" under the label? It's possible that the bat is a blem or something similar, I suppose, if it's not a 302.

I just realized that the 302 *should* be visible on the bat from that angle. What is the bat length? Are there other discernible labels?

What's on the knob? I'm wondering if this is a pro model, it doesn't match known stampings for pro models, though I agree it most closely matches the 46-50 era.
