    Pro Set Fact Football Cards

do any members know about these? these were the ones that were only distributed to schools in the late 80s and early 90s (they were never sold at retail)

i acquired a bunch of sealed cello sets from 1992. i have 2 full series (sets 1-6) and then a ton of other sealed sets

i have done some research, but the info is scarce. i know that complete set sold on ebay a few years ago for around $120, but it was also in plastic sheets. again, the ones i have are all sealed.

im just trying to figure out the best way to sell them and how much they might be worth.

i was thinking about one big lot, but i dont know if that would scare collects away.

The three FACT sets that were issued in six series were 1991, 1993 and 1994, each set featuring 108 cards total. I'm guessing you have the 1993 set, because the 1992 set only featured one series of 18 cards.

A complete set of the 1991 would sell in the $80 to $120 range, the 1993 set in the $35 to $50 range, and the 1994 set in the $25 to $40 range.

The cards are relatively scarce, and there is a dedicated group of Pro Set collectors out there. As far as the 1993 set is concerned, there are seven key cards... Emmitt, Elway, Favre, Marino, Young, Aikman and Barry Sanders.

You're right... My edition of the Standard Catalog of Football cards is incorrect. Those 1992s are TOUGH to find, for sure. Hard to know their value unless you put 'em up in an auction format. Maybe even do a Buy It Now with the Best Offer feature and see what kinds of offers come in. You might consider sending the superstars to PSA for grading.

        Those cards are sweet!!!

          thanks so much, anthony.

by chance, do you know what cards are in what set?

i know the elway is the tough card in the set. i could have as few as 2 or as many as 18.
