1939 minor league uniform...needs accessories!

I acquired a wool uniform and now want to add to the jersey and pants.
I guess that mean belt, cap, leggings, shoes, and glove and bat.
Where do I start? Advice is appreciated....

First you need to post a photo of the uni including any tags. This will help date the uniform so you can purchase other items from the same time frame. Most if not all of what you will need can be found on ebay. The belt will likely be a simple black leather belt from a resale shop unless your uni is very early and needs a sports belt.

What team is it? Cool uniform...too bad the patch is worn - in good condition that 1939 patch sells for $300+.

I do have a bunch of sweet examples of the patch btw...one of them is in mint condition and is on the back of a "milk jacket" ( info on milk jackets would be appreciated also...LOL)

Now THAT is a unique piece. Who in the world put that patch on that jacket and decided to get autos...very cool. The patch is impressive and valuable.

Well you need wool stirup socks, a plane buckel black leather belt, and wool cap to compete the uni. The socks may be the toughest, but they are on ebay from time to time.

You can spend as much or as little as you like on gloves and bats, but here are some inexpensive options if you just want pieces that look right with your uni.

You also need a split finger glove from the era like this.

That is a sweet "milk jacket". I would love to hear the story behind that thing. As far as teams go for the WM jersey the only thing I can think of would be William and Mary College. Where are you located and where did you find the jersey?

So much memorabilia...so little time
I get inspired to "research" something ie the milk jacket...then I get distracted by shiny things... and I'm on to the next item I buy.
The pic probably doesn'tn show it, but several buttons have little milk bottles on them and the 4 middle buttons spell M I L K vertically.
I bought it on ebay for the patch, but it was listed in the autograph section.
I am reaching out to you all for your combined brain power...Concerning the uniform...I was thinking since it has a centennial patch that it is a minor league uni not college. Did college uniforms in 1939 have the patch on their sleeve?
Also, I have been advised( on the Collector's Universe Forum) that the fact that it was made by Honus Wagner's Sporting Goods makes it highly desirable...
Any insights are appreciated,

I have seen pics of college teams from 1939 with the patch. Baseball's 100th anniversary was a HUGE event on every level...I don't have any pics of college teams with the patch, but here are a couple of Texas Leaguers wearing the patch.

socks are really that tough? never new that. about 10 years ago i picked up 6 or 7 jerseys w/pants, all between 1910-35. the guy that i got them from had 20-25 pairs of old wool stir-up socks that he threw in with the uni's because he didn't know what to do with them without the jerseys. i put 1 set with each jersey and put the rest into sealed bags and stuffed them into a tub and really havent paid them much mind since. i'm curious to hear more info from uni collectors about these old items.
