I recently purchaced a Rawlings Big Stick Professional Model P302, with Ron Cey's name in block letters. The knob of the bat is stamped "256B" in large letters and then underneath the aforementioned is "029 7" stamped in much smaller letters.

Is the above description consistent with Ron Cey game model bats and what do the letters and numbers on the knob mean?

The 256b is player batch number

029 is the batch order as it came in

7 means the bat is from the 1987 season
