Fraudulent Arod 2010 Team Issued Jersey on Ebay

Just wanted everyone to know that we have not received any 2010 Team Issued jersey from the Yankees. Someone is trying to sell an Arod team issued jersey on Ebay with patches. Can they really do anything though? Steiner sells blank team issued jerseys with holograms on them. If this seller is buying blanks and having them customized is there anything that Steiner can do? Does the law require that the seller remove the hologram if they have them customized? I don't know where the seller gets his jerseys from but if he is buying them direct from Steiner blank and they are the ones putting the holograms on them that right there is the problem. What can Steiner really do as long as the seller is not claiming that they are game used being that they sold the jersey blank with a hologram on it?

I did not see the pics of the jersey but the Yankees are using the blue/silver mlb logo on their jerseys this year. They are on the jerseys they are wearing right now.

You are correct my MLB certified Mariano GU jersey has the logo like that. Unfortunately since the patched jerseys will command a premiumn he is not going to be the only guy to do this, he was just dumb and jumped the gun and had a prior rep.

That does not mean that that auction was not ended early and sold on the side. The seller did have an offer on the jersey that was declined.

Thankfully the auction was ended early. It looks like they removed all pictures and deleted the description. I'm glad nobody got duped for now, but I bet it will be back.

The jersey looked to like a spring training jersey. The fact the MLB logo on the neck was silver and blue was kind of a give away. I think those logos where only used on there ST pinstripes this year.
