I love the "Cushion" ball mark on the Mitchell bat. Nice Addition to your collection.
"We need rebirth of the American tradition of leadership ... in private life as well." "'Trust me' government asks that we concentrate our hopes and dreams on one man; that we trust him to do what's best for us. My view of government places trust not in one person or one party, but in those values that transcend persons and parties. The trust is where it belongs--in the people." - Ronald Reagan"
Finally found a pair of Bagwell's Darryl Kile Tribute Cleats. This pair is from 2005 and is the style with red accents. They have been MLB Authenticated to the Rockies verssu Astros game on 6/21/2005, Jeff's final season and the first Astros World Series season. Here are pics and a photo of Jeff in the 2005 WS wearing a similar style:

[quote] Chris - Great pickup. So rare to see cleats MLB Authenticated for game use!
Just got this today, a piece I needed for my Astros/Colt Jersey Collection:
1964 Houston Colt .45s Road Flannel #34 (Gordon Jones), All Original, including the very rare Texas Flag patch. Number had been resewn in sections by the team from heavy wear. Strangely enough, the Astros later retired #34 for Nolan Ryan. Cool!
TFig,
Was that Mattingly hat from the Steiner auction? I was going to bid, but I was sick on Tuesday and fell asleep. How much did you get it for? Thanks.
That was the one. I got it for 276. After fees and shipping, about 330.
Didn't think that was too bad. Just out of curiosity, how much did you plan on bidding if you don't mind me asking?

TFig,
I was going to go to $300. Had permission from the wife to use that as my birthday and Christmas gifts from her. Couldn't go any more than that because I found a Mattingly bat and it should be coming within the next week/week-and-a-half. That has wiped out my funds, but it is my Holy Grail...he was my favorite player when I was in my teens. Great find and congrats...I'm jealous.
